Abstract

Considers the approach of the European Court of Justice in deciding jurisdiction in cross border tortious commercial claims in general and those claiming pure economic loss in particular. Reassesses whether some categories of tortious commercial claims require a distinct and particular approach, drawing guidance from other specialised areas of law.
