Abstract

Brexit, in whatever form, could have a major impact on the recognition of cross-border insolvency proceedings in the UK. It will be some time before the actual impact can be fully determined, but the mere threat that it could deter creditors from using English insolvency and restructuring procedures should encourage the UK to consider its options.
