Abstract

Nocturne
Fringe Arts Festival, Bath, 23rd May 2014-8th June 2014
“This exhibition will explore the theme of the night. Created as an immersive environment guiding visitors through visual works and soundscapes reflecting the tension that darkness can bring.
The exhibition joint-curated by Anna Holsgrove and Tim Holsgrove.
Mark Parkinson images of bridges, these bridges represent the boundaries of an areas of Preston, not the edges defined by the local council but are boundaries perceived from memory of a troubled childhood living on Avenham council estate, Preston. These bridges were seen as a place of adventure and pathways to other estates. Drawings are approximately 80 x 60cm framed.
