Imponderable Sound Performances 2014 - 2019

Abstract

This portfolio comes from a sonic art perspective and builds upon the knowledge that low frequency vibration physically affects the body. Imponderable Sound represents a new musical approach named, which incorporates low bass frequency to develop new and extended techniques for contemporary composition. Infrasonic and low frequency vibrations create a sensory and immersive environment that add an extra sensory experience, that of touch, meaning that the work can be perceived haptically, often a neglected area of sonic artworks. This way of working opens up possibilities for innovative compositional approaches using only bass frequencies for a sonic art environment.
