Abstract

The following presentation/seminar would be the result of a personal invitation to be the key speaker of Participatory City Making LAB, a session of the 'Border Sessions' that would be held in The Hague.

The Border Sessions are held each year, they are a progressive platform at the intersection of technology, society, art and science, uniting people and organisations to address urgent social, societal and environmental issues, believing that the challenges we face today require unexpected solutions. The aim being to give a more prominent role to creative pioneers so that they can offer perspectives and insights that will inspire promising interventions.

The workshop / presentation I would be invited to deliver at the Border Sessions focussed on how to best approach the development of sustainable cities through co-creational design. The content focussing on the Methodology developed and implemented over a 5 year period across several cities across Europe to gain societal Impact by connecting citizens, increasing sustainability awareness and facilitating technologically creative, co-creative 'City Visions'.
