Abstract
Flyers promoting a performance by Quickspace Supersport and Formula One at The Adelphi, Preston on Saturday 9th November c1996. An event by Club Deluxe.
8pm - 11pm. Tickets: £2 or £3 on the door.
On the reverse side of both flyers is a short description/review of the bands.
"Quickspace Supersport, described as 'the psychotic younger brothers of Stereolab', touchdown on Sat 9th November. Quickspace's press release states the band sound like a carnival joy ride through repetetive hypnogrooves, exotic melodia and freaky pschedelia."
"Formula One ... Comparisons have included Stereoloab, Boo Radleys and Sonic Youth, 'there's no denying the Preston 5-peice's pressing rendevous withy Evening Session Infamy...they're weird enough to enthrall but - crucially - tuneful enough to tickle the parts normally reached by strong lager and small rodents' NME September 14th 1996"
