Abstract

This study explored the perspectives of child and adolescent mental health services (CAMHS) professionals working with borderline personality disorder in young people within a service context where attribution of a diagnosis is a contentious issue. We suggest that services need to develop in a needs-led way and assert that additional training, support and specialist supervision would enhance practice
