Abstract

A group of influential women from the animation industry were invited to discuss the industry and the lack of women working in this industry. Contributors included Candy Guard - Creator of Pond Life a series on Channel 4, Jackie Edwards - Head of Acquisitions CBBC, Jackie Cockle - creator of Timmy Time, Jean Flyn - Creative Director Producer at Cosgrove Hall, Jayne Piling - Director of the British Animation Awards, Anna Gregory from UK Animated Women and was chaired by myself Sarah Ann Kennedy, creator of Crapston Villas and voice artist.
