Exeter Community Health Services Computer Project Systems Study Report:Part 1

Abstract

The report summerises the results of a systems study funded by the D.H.S.S into the applications of computers in the National Health Service. Sections 1-12 give a general account of the main features of the project, whilst the remainder of the report is concerned with a detailed statement of the proposed systems. Taken as a whole the report provides a basis for the specification of a computer system adequate to test in practice the approach advocated by the Project.
