Abstract

The project was set to develop a new partnership with Kapelica Gallery in Ljubljana (renowned for presenting sound art, technology and science), with a view to establishing professional connections and enhancing my artistic profile within the wider European sound and digital art community. This included the exhibition of my work in a 'Sonic Garden' outdoor presentation area of the gallery, produced and supported by curator Sandra Sajovic and international freelance curator Georg Weckwerth.

In collaboration with curators Sandra Sajovic (Kapelica Gallery) and Georg Wekwerth (independent), I presented an exhibition reflecting on political, cultural and geographical borders. To create this exhibition I developed and adapted my earlier project, where those issues were raised: 'Krakow to Venice in 12 hours', in which I travelled through the borderless Schengen Europe, still experiencing the traces and shadows of the Iron Curtain’s past.
