West Cumbria from the A66: Route 1, North

Abstract

One of a series of three draft visitor guides, developed during the consultation process for the Route 66 North initiative. This is a partnership project designed to promote and develop the region defined by and joined by the A66. Led by Eden Arts, Miranda Kirschel of EY (Ernst Young), Creative Tourist Consults, and Lateral North, the project has the support of Allerdale, Copeland, Eden, County Durham and Tees Valley Combined Authority together with ARUP, Whitehaven Harbour Commissioners, and others to address the development of culture as a key economic and social driver.
