Abstract
An interactive installation at Goldsmiths University London as part of a 3 day conference in collaboration with The Whitechapel Gallery, London.
Each memory evoked by a particular soundtrack, takes the person back to a moment when they were different people, in a different space and time. The audio enables a kind of leapfrogging over decades of everyday life experiences, to reveal how individual and cultural memory resonates in the shaping of social space, and the soundscape’s deep connection to place.
