Abstract

Frontiers of Dance & Health is a 2-day sympoisum lead by members of the Knowing Body Network:
Penny Collinson, Daphne Cushnie, Lisa Dowler, Susie Tate and Miranda Tufnell.

It was an opportunity for practitioners to share ways in which somatic movement practices and improvisation are applied when working in hospitals, hospices, healthcare environements and the community. This introduction ot the event was delivered by Penny Collinson on behalf of the Knowing Body Network.

The event was supported by Cheshire Dance, hosted by Liverpool Improvisation Collective (LIC), as part of the Inhabit Project; a partnership with Bluecoat, Liverpool's Centre for the Contemporary Arts, 10-11th May 2017.
