Abstract

Extant literature on SSCM practices have paid little attention to quality of management attributes that could influence sustainability implementation in supply chains. The aim of this study is to address this gap by examining the relationship between quality of management, SSCM practices, and business performance. A survey of 192 oil and gas companies was carried out. The data collected was analyses using correlation and multiple regression analysis. The correlation results provide evidence that, quality of management is positively related to the implementation of SSCM practices. The regression results indicate that 18.1% of variance in business performance is explained by quality of management, and 26.4% of the variance is explained by SSCM practices.
