Moving With Symposium Workshop and Screening

Abstract

Take a mindful (body-full) walk in the grounds of the Westleigh Conference Centre, UCLan, participants (guided by Lucy) will quietly walk to notice their local landscape, choosing a number of significant things in their vicinity that they analyse and convert to movement expressions. The workshop will give you a brief introduction to movement analysis to support you in making an embodied response to your environment, we will reflect with drawings and conversation that try to articulate our movement experience.
