Abstract
How to deal with Iran’s nuclear programme is a question which remains under discussion in some Western capitals. My research indicates that Iran’s nuclear programme cannot be certified as not having a military dimension. However, the accusations that Iran is pursuing nuclear weapons are not based on concrete evidence. Furthermore, it has the right to develop the nuclear fuel cycle technologies e.g. Uranium enrichment. The primary issue is not the nuclear proliferation but the challenge to the US interests in the Middle East. Notwithstanding the differences, a negotiated solution is considered possible and is in the interest of all stakeholders.
