Abstract
I will briefly restate the case for a Critical Rationalist approach to the way we view argumentation practice. I will then focus on a particular deep disagreement, involving two radically different conceptions of sex and gender, drawing on Karl Popper’s essay “The Myth of the Framework” and his optimism about the possibility having “fruitful conversations” across very different belief systems and eventually resolving deep disagreements.
