Abstract
Disruption to the supply chain becomes heightened during crises such as the pandemic, natural disasters, regional conflicts, and war. Supply chain disruption has a significant impact on the global economy. Uncertainties in the global economy require the supply chain to become more responsive, agile, and innovative to cope with crises and disruptions. Entrepreneurial supply chain (ESC) is presented as a possible solution to supply chain crises and disruptions. Unlike the traditional supply chain, the entrepreneurial approach to supply chain management enhances the performance and functionality of the supply chain at both strategic and operational levels. A conceptual framework on how to integrate entrepreneurial dimensions and practices with the supply chain is presented.
