Abstract

Numerous forces throughout England and Wales conduct victim satisfactions surveys in line
with Home Officer requirements. This includes surveying certain groups of victims,
including burglary, violent crime, vehicle crime and hate crime. In addition, some forces also
conduct victim satisfaction surveys with victims of domestic abuse in order to improve their
response and services. The purpose of this report is to examine victim satisfaction across three surveyed areas:
domestic abuse; burglary; and violent crime. The report examines each area separately,
analysing overall victim satisfaction with Lancashire Constabulary, as well as the reasons
underpinning it.
