Abstract

This chapter introduces the reader to the main topic of the book and the legal questions and approaches that underpin it. More concretely, it explains the complexity of the Cyprus Question and its overlooked angles which have led to a ‘state of Cypriot silences’. It then engages in an elaborate examination of the legal and historical theoretical and methodological issues which have guided the research.
