Abstract
Lantern slide displaying the view on alcohol of the head of the N.S.P.C.C Sir Rober Parr
"'The growth of the drink habit in a parent is marked by a corresponding decline in proper parental instinct; cruelty takes the place of love. Inability to provide the necessaries of life does not kill affection as the habit of drinking does.
It may be difficult to believe that anyone will raise a hand to strike a little child. DRINK MAKES PARENTS DO THIS.'
