UCLan Diversity Conference
Following last year’s successful first UCLan Diversity Conference, the University is proud to announce details of this year’s conference.
Entitled ‘Many Voices: Creative Pathways to Inclusion and Accessible Education, the event promises to be full of interesting speakers and audience who will discuss and debate key themes focusing on digital media, narratives and other forms of creative education.
The Conference aims to identify and demonstrate the positive benefits of creative education, highlighting that innovative education raises awareness of and targets stigma and discrimination. It will be of interest to all staff, students, educators and policymakers in higher education and beyond.
The Conference takes place on 28 November 2012 at the University’s Westleigh Conference Centre. If you have any enquiries in the meantime, please contact Russell Hogarth, Conference co-ordinator at rhogarth1@uclan.ac.uk or direct your enquiry to equalityanddiversity@uclan.ac.uk.
