Abstract

The University of Central Lancashire is opening its doors to the public on Thursday 14
February for the annual Tim Curtis Memorial Lecture.
This year's lecture, Churchill and 'the enemy within': his struggles with internal 'red
perils' will he given by Professor Chris Wrigley, from the University of Nottinghe:un.
The lectures are given in memory of Tim Curtis, a former Deputy Director of the
University, who died of Leukaemia and who was passionate about extending access to
higher education to people who may have missed their chance first time round.
The lecture will be held at 7 .30pm in the University's Adelphi Building. Tickets are
free and available from the Department of Historical and Critical Studies. Please
