Abstract

Nurse Mark Corner has been presented with a prestigious award for academic
achievement at a ceremony at the University of Central Lancashire.
Mark, who recently graduated with a degree in mental health nursing, was awarded a
Lancashire Priory Nursing Award for getting top marks on his course. Mark has been a
nurse for 20 years and is currently working at the Guild Lodge in Preston.
His award, a certificate and a cheque for £250, was sponsored by the Lancashire Priory
Hospital, part of the Priory Healthcare Group, the leading provider of private acute
mental healthcare in the UK.
Mark completed hi'> degree to give him a better understanding of patient care and now
intends to continue his studies at Masters level.
