Abstract

The Delphi technique is a means of deducing consensus opinion from a panel of experts by means of consecutive rounds of questionnaires with post-round feedback. Sometimes regarded as an alternative to a committee meeting, the Delphi method has been widely used in nursing. It has considerable potential for increased use in allied health research.
