Abstract

Two new postgraduate courses at the University of Central Lancashire are being offered to students who would find it difficult to study on campus.

Students can take the Postgraduate Certificate in Employment Law and the Postgraduate Certificate in Environmental Law, by studying entirely on-line. These courses are the first full e-learning courses to be offered by the Lancashire Law School at the University. They are aimed at professionals in employment and environmental fields without a first degree in Law.

"Lancashire Law School wishes to see the expansion of access to higher education to those who find it difficult or inconvenient to come on campus", said course tutor Andrew Culley. "Not many institutions in this country offer e-learning courses, compared to the US, where the courses have proved very popular."
