Abstract

Black and white photograph, 1924

Tall man at the back left of the group is George Harrison who was the Superintendent at the home from 1924 - 1927. He was also a retired Police superintendent from Preston.
The woman next to him was his wife Elizabeth Hannah Harrison who was the matron during the same period. They were married in 1917.
Her daughter, Olive Harrison (born Olive Moss) is two rows in front of them.
