Abstract

Persistent facial erythema and flushing in rosacea remain challenging to treat with current therapies. A recent noteworthy open-label trial found that erenumab, a CGRP receptor inhibitor, significantly reduced moderate to extreme flushing and erythema in treatment-resistant patients, highlighting a novel neurovascular-targeted therapeutic approach.
