As an Expert Assistant in the Biology and DNA Section of the General Department of Forensic Science and Criminology in Dubai Police, I have extensive experience working in both the field and the laboratory. As a crime scene investigator (CSI), I am responsible for examining and collecting biological evidence from crime scenes, including trace evidence such as touch DNA. In the laboratory, I work as a DNA analyst, performing a variety of procedures to extract, quantify, and analyze DNA samples. In my role as a DNA analyst, I use a variety of techniques and instruments to process DNA samples, including PCR amplification, electrophoresis, and DNA sequencing.
