Dr. Athanasia Dimitriadou, is an accomplished academic and researcher specializing in Economics, Banking, and Finance. She is a Lecturer in Finance and Technology at the University of Central Lancashire, Business School. She was awarded a Full Academic Scholarship in 2020 to pursue a Ph.D. in Banking and Finance at the University of Derby, College of Business, Law, and Social Sciences. Her doctoral thesis, titled 'The Influence of Exchange Rates News on US Banks' Profitability: A Panel Model Analysis,' reflects her expertise in conducting research experiments utilizing advanced methodologies in Machine Learning and Econometrics. She pursued and successfully obtained her Master's degree in Business Administration, with a focus on banking and finance, and a bachelor’s degree from Democritus University of Thrace. During her master's program, Athanasia showcased her research prowess by publishing her dissertation in the journal 'Forecasting.'
