Hamid Reza Nasriani

SENIOR LECTURER IN OIL & GAS ENGINEERING

School of Engineering

Petroleum Engineering, Clean-up efficiency of Hydraulic Fractures, Unconventional formations, Hydraulic Fracturing, Gas-Condensate Reservoirs

Dr Nasriani is working on unconventional reservoirs and hydraulic fracturing efficiency. The successful development of unconventional hydrocarbon resources (tight/shale gas and oil reserves) relies on extensive innovative research to improve understanding of the mechanisms in such reservoirs and to design new technologies to improve hydrocarbon recovery. He spent more than nine years as a Senior Reservoir Engineer working on reservoir modelling and reservoir operation in the oil & gas industry

PhD Petroleum Engineering, Heriot-Watt University, 2017 - M.Sc. Petroleum Engineering, University of Calgary, 2003 - B.Sc. (Hons.) Chemical Engineering, Persian Gulf University, 2000
