Following the completion of his Ph.D, he was employed as a post-doctoral researcher at Imperial College London (2014-2015) and the University of Cyprus (2015-2016). His research interests fall broadly in the areas of Distributed Systems and Software Engineering, with an emphasis on mobile and wearable technologies, cloud computing, mobile code offloading and datacenter networking. He has published to accredited scientific conferences and journals, such as SIGCOMM, Transactions on Mobile Computing, Information Systems Journal, MobiSys, and MobileSoft. Some of his previous research outcomes have had a significant impact in his areas of interest, yielding over 1000 citations to date (https://goo.gl/370Grv).
Pamboris has led various large-scale research projects at Imperial College London and the University of Cyprus, in collaboration with established industry partners such as one of the world’s leading telecommunications operators, Orange Labs UK (France Telecom R&D). He has also been actively involved with EU-funded projects such as the EIT ICT LABS MC-DATA and H2020 GrowMeUp projects, acting as technical manager and Work Package leader.
PhD Computer Science (Imperial College London, 2014);
MSc Computer Science (University of California San Diego, 2009);
BSc Computer Science (University of Cyprus, 2007)
