Marios Belk is a Lecturer in Cybersecurity and Data Analytics. He received a Ph.D. degree in Computer Science from the University of Cyprus, with focus on usable security and cognitive-centered personalization systems. His Ph.D. work was ranked in the finalists of the ERCIM 2016 Cor Baayen Young Researcher Award Competition. Recently, he received an H2020 Seal of Excellence for a high-quality project proposal entitled “CogniPass – Cognition-centred Personalised Authentication Schemes”. In the past, he was appointed as a Marie Curie fellow at IDMind Systems Engineering in Lisbon, Portugal. His research work has been published in accredited scientific journals and conferences, e.g., ACM SIGCHI, ACM IUI, etc., including a best paper award and honorable mention as leading author at South-CHI ’
