Abstract

The feed in tariff scheme had a big impact In the United Kingdom from 2010 till 2012. The scheme was very beneficially for many homeowners across the country in many different ways. The reason why the scheme was brought in was to cut down on to carbon emissions and use green energy by using renewable energy to run electricity and have more energy efficient homes. The scheme is mainly for domestic properties.
The main focus here was to examine the impact of the Feed in Tariffs, also another crucial factor will be looked at is the Green Deal, which too was introduced by the government to have more homes in the United Kingdom that were more energy efficient.
The methodology used quantitative method of research in the form of a questionnaire and the questionnaire was handed to people around the University and around Brierfield, Nelson UK. The main purpose of the questionnaire was to carry out more research on the Feed in Tariff scheme.
