Abstract

A city of rich artistic tradition and handicrafts, but also the birthplace of the avant-garde group a.r. The group started its artistic activity in 1929, and the heritage that it left was the largest modern art collection in Europe, exhibited in the Museum of Art in Łódź.
The aim of the International Biennale of Graphic Art Łódź is to create a showcase exhibition presenting contemporary graphic art which would give artist from around the world an opportunity to confront their creative attitudes.
