Abstract

Literature on mental health promotion and wellbeing stresses the importance of inherent concepts, such as empowerment, collaboration and recovery, and indicates that the delivery of the intervention or the process of implementation is as important as the content. This article presents a model that embeds concepts inherent in mental health and wellbeing promotion into a working framework. This may be useful for practitioners working in a variety of settings, both as a guide for meaningful intervention, and as a self-development tool.
