Plastic production and consumption has been increasing through the past years, and it is one of the most used materials around the world. This increasing of plastic materials has negatively affected on the environment and some countries around the world try to implement different Plastic Waste Management Systems to reduce the plastic harm and to substitution to another product with less harmful than plastic.
This dissertation discusses Plastic Waste Management in Oman. This study covers aim and some important objectives related to the management of plastic waste in the Sultanate of Oman. The purposes and the main aims of this study are to determine the current state of plastic waste management, specifically in Oman.
In addition to this, my study takes into account the production and usage of plastic materials in Oman. The sources I used to collect this data and information for my study is literature review, questionnaire survey and interviews with technical people in companies, municipalities and the public. The collected information was analyzed by using graphical techniques.
