Abstract
This chapter presents projects developed in local communities with members of minority ethnic communities, primarily of African descent, that examine issue of cultural and political identity. Much of this work questions mainstream practice and understanding in the area of race and identity. All of the work is based in the area of Art & Design, primarily Fashion Design.
