Honestly It’s the Story of My Life

This Royal College of Art post graduate film was purchased by Channel 4 in 1989 but in 2015 the BFI bought the rights from Channel 4 to host this short film on their own website.

The film follows a new student as she navigates her new surroundings and wonders how she will start her new project. At this point in time there were no or few female protagonists in animation, and there were few that were realistic and reflected stories that real women could relate too. The animation is very simple but it is the subject matter that makes this film ground breaking.
