Abstract
This is a paper investigating public perception of wolves and their reintroduction to
look into the possibility of reintroducing wolves to the United Kingdom. Research
consisted of both primary and secondary, primary research was used in order to gain
public opinions of wolves, and perceptions in media, and secondary to establish how
reintroducing wolves would benefit the ecosystem of the UK. It was found that
wolves are portrayed very poorly within film which may affect public opinions.
However it was also found that wolves would benefit the ecosystem in many different
ways and that the public is surprisingly positive towards the idea however other social
and political issues would prevent any reintroduction plan.
