Salon for a Speculative Future: Women Artists’ Print Portfolio

Abstract

The Salon for a Speculative Future (see Instagram) was established by artist and curator Monika Oechsler in March 2019 in celebration of Women’s History Month.
The Salon for a Speculative Future’s ongoing mission is to provide a cross-generational and inter-disciplinary multi-media platform for women artists and to highlight women’s contributions to society and culture. In particular the Salon seeks to
project creative voices that imagine new ideas for the future.
This project asks for the contribution of unique prints to a bespoke Women Artists’ Print Portfolio and adjoint Publication to be launched later this year.
