The Primary Care response to loneliness via social prescribin

Abstract

Loneliness is common amongst all sectors of society for different reasons. Sometimes, the only point of contact with the outside world is the primary care physician. This presentation explores what the primary care physician can do, centred around social prescribing. This application is relevant to others working in the community, and to areas where social prescribing is not yet established.
