Abstract

This project aims to look at regeneration of Sand Quarry sites, within a study area located in North West Cumbria specifically, into a number of options. This study will research what the realistic options are and why and what option of regeneration would be best for each particular site in the study area. This project will also look at previous regeneration attempts in the study area and whether these were an effective approach of quarry restoration.
